Why a spreadsheet
Most bulk editors are forms in disguise. Mixtable is a real spreadsheet with a two-way connection to your store.
Rows, columns, frozen panes, filters, sorting, copy and paste, right-click menus, and printing. Everything you expect, with thousands of products on one sheet.
Changes in Shopify flow into the sheet automatically. Your edits wait as pending changes until you review them and sync, so nothing lands by accident.
=VLOOKUP, =IF, =CONCAT, =ROUND, =IMAGE. Your Excel muscle memory already works, with 150+ functions supported.
Prices
Drop a formula into a cell, fill it down the column, and every price recalculates. Percentage markups, currency conversions, and tiered pricing all work.
=ROUND(B2*0.85,2)
Spring discounts Sync 4 changes Metafields
Load any metafield as a column and edit its values the same way you would edit a title. Fill down, paste from Excel, or calculate with formulas.
Product metafields Sync 7 changes Inventory
One column per location, one row per variant. Set a quantity outright, or adjust it up and down with +25 or -5.
Inventory by location Sync 7 changes Formulas
Mixtable supports 150+ Excel-compatible functions. If you have used a spreadsheet before, you already know how to use it.
=CONCAT(A2," - ",D2," | Acme")=IF(E2<10,"LOW","")=VLOOKUP(B2,Costs!A:C,3,FALSE)=IMAGE(H2)=LOWER(SUBSTITUTE(A2," ","-"))Coverage
Load any combination of these into a single spreadsheet and split them across worksheets.

Demo spreadsheet From Shopify Reviews
Mixtable streamlines our bulk pricing updates. It allows our brand and buying teams to focus on a single spreadsheet rather than multiple spreadsheets and manually updating Shopify.
This seemed to be the only app that could bulk edit items in our Shopify product catalogue to such a specific degree.
The app itself is powerful and incredibly useful for managing large Shopify catalogs, but what truly sets Mixtable apart is their support team. They are on another level.

Your first plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and development, trial, and non-profit stores use it free. Everything is included on every plan, and you can cancel at any time.

Questions
The things merchants ask before they install.
Install the Mixtable Spreadsheet Editor from the Shopify App Store and open a products spreadsheet. Your catalog loads into a grid where you edit titles, prices, status, and any other field the way you would in Excel. Review the pending changes, then run Sync to Shopify to push them.
Yes. Tags get their own column across products, customers, and orders, so you can add, remove, or replace tags on thousands of records at once using find and replace, formulas, or paste. Nothing reaches your store until you sync.
Yes. Write a formula like =ROUND(B2*0.9,2) and fill it down the column, and every price recalculates at once. Base prices, compare-at prices, and international prices each get their own column.
Yes. Product, variant, customer, collection, and order metafields load as ordinary spreadsheet columns and are edited the same way as any other field.
Edits stay in the spreadsheet as pending changes until you choose to sync, and every sync shows them in a preview first. Change your mind about some of them? Select the cells and choose Revert to Shopify value to put them back the way they are in Shopify. After a sync, cell history and row history show what changed, when, and who synced it.
Yes. Description and content cells on products, collections, pages, and blog posts have an Edit button that opens a visual editor with headings, lists, links, bold, and italics. You can also paste from Google Docs or Word and keep the formatting. The change waits in the spreadsheet until you sync it, like any other edit.
No. The spreadsheet is connected to your store in both directions, so there is no CSV to download, edit, and re-upload. You can still import a CSV when the data is coming from somewhere else.
Plans start at $15 per month and are matched to your Shopify plan, up to $49 per month for Shopify Plus. Your store's first plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and development, trial, and non-profit stores are enrolled in the free plan automatically.
